C7 SPOILER STAGE 2 UPGRADE KIT
INCLUDES: 2 SIDE WICKER BILL FOR EXISTING Z06 SPOILER
Note: *Stage 2 wicker bill shown - Use same procedure for stage 1 wicker bill.
- Remove tape liners (1) from the LH wicker bill assembly.
- Starting with location #1, insert the fastener through the wicker bill’s hole and align to its corresponding spoiler hole. Finger tighten. Follow the same process in order for locations #2 through #5.
Caution: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Hand torque the five M6 T20 head fasteners to 5 N.m (44 lb in) and check for proper torque periodically.
Caution: * Hand Tool Only Notice; Use care when torquing the wicker bill fasteners. Over torquing the fasteners may damage the spoiler or fasteners.
- Repeat above process for the RH wicker.
